The Boston University School of Hospitality Administration Leadership Summit 2025 was an energizing and inspiring event, featuring two engaging panel discussions: Winning Experiences: Hospitality’s Game-Changing Impact on the Fan Journey at Sports & Entertainment Events and Union Square Hospitality Group: Hiring Hospitalitarians. The day also included an Innovation Competition, the ICON Award Presentation, and speed networking—a full and vibrant agenda that truly brought to life our vision of Experience Innovation.
It was a pleasure to collaborate with my fantastic Co-Chair, Mara Littman, our fearless leader, Dean Arun Upneja, and the incredible students on the planning committee—each of whom represents the bright future of our industry.

Green Initiatives: Hosted at Boston's largest fossil fuel free building ; Vegan Menu with the exception of a turkey Fenway frank inspired hot dog ; Event design featuring minimal loal florals, moss sculptures and moss walls constructed with natural product: both biophilic and environmentally sustainable ; Rental partner, PEAK leading the charge in green practices in the event rentals category including the investment in electric trucks and AI robots that reduce water and energy use ; eco-freindly badges and re-use of lanyards from previous events, Seeded, plantable paper featured in speed networking segment and mocktail display ; Virtual swag bag featuring experience-based offers from our industry partners.
